Welcome to Samui Elephant Kingdom! We are the first ethical elephant conservation in Koh Samui. Samui Elephant Kingdom was founded by Chokchai Rueangsri who grew up in a family that owned and worked with elephants for generations. That is to say, he saw the abuse of elephants getting worse as tourists demanded more such as elephant riding and elephant performance. From a young age Chokchai felt a deep connection with elephants and always dream that one day he and his family could create their own conservation for elephants. His dream was realized in 2019 when he created the Samui Elephant Kingdom.
